Patrick To Play On West Coast

North Dakota State College of Science enjoyed a tremendous season under the guidance of Head Coach Craig Irwin. One of his sophomores has a made college decision this spring.
J.R. Patrick, a 6-4, 208 pound swingman/small forward from Edmonton, Alberta, has signed with Santa Clara. Patrick picked the Broncs after also considering Eastern Kentucky, Stephen F. Austin and Baylor.

Patrick averaged 16.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Wildcats, shooting 50 percent (63/126) from beyond the arc, 54 percent overall from the floor and 86 percent from the charity stripe.
"We played J.R. at the three this year, but he's such a good shooter that he could probably play the two spot at the next level," Irwin said.
