Parker decommits from Rutgers

Three-star shooting guard Kwe Parker looked to have wrapped up his recruiting process in August with a commitment to Rutgers. As it turns out, the high-flying guard is having second thoughts and needs to take a look around.
Parker has announced that he will be re-opening his recruitment and has backed off of his Rutgers pledge.

After much thought and prayer, I have decided to decommit from Rutgers & re-open my recruiting. I thank Rutgers for their time & interest.- Kwe Parker (@iJump_tooMuch) November 4, 2015
WHAT'S NEXT: What's next is seeing who out there is going to show interest in Parker. A one-time four-star prospect, the 6-foot-1 perimeter player has battled injuries and a bit of a flat-lining in his development.
Prior to his commitment to Rutgers, Kansas State, Wake Forest, Florida State, Clemson, Charlotte and Virginia Tech among others had offered scholarships.
RIVALS' REACTION: The case of Parker is an interesting one. There is no doubt that he has talent and there aren't any more physically gifted players in the class of 2016. Parker has astounding leaping ability, well above average quickness and is a dynamite transition player.
Now, the question is going to be how consistent he can be with his jumper and how well his game translates to the much more structured college game. At a minimum, Parker has the tools to be a defensive stopper at the high-major level and if he shows signs that his offensive game is improving again he could make a run toward working his way back into the Rivals150. He's certainly going to be interesting to track over the next few months.
