Paris picks up three offers

After losing everything in Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans native Biko Paris is now enrolled at Cypress Community Christian School in Houston, Texas. Paris, a 2007, 6-foot-1, 200-pound point guard prospect, has continued his winning ways there and has picked up three offers.
"I have offers from Miami, LSU and Tulane," said Paris. "I'm also hearing from Illinois, Florida, Baylor, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, New Orleans, Arkansas and Mississippi State. Everyone has been in to see me except for Illinois, but I talk to them a lot."

Averaging 19 points and 8 assists for his 26-3 team, Paris has made a successful transition to his new school.
Out of all the schools recruiting him, Paris has Illinois, Oklahoma and Miami as his top three schools.
"I like Illinois' transition game," he said. "I also like the three guard line up that Coach Weber uses a lot. I saw that they got Eric Gordon, and I wouldn't mind playing with him.
"With Oklahoma, I like Coach Sampson a lot. He is a very good coach, and I like the offense he runs.
"I feel Miami is an up and coming program. Edwin Rios and I would be a good backcourt."
A very physical guard with a solid all around game a strong leadership skills, Paris is focused primarily on improving on the defensive side of the ball.
"I'm working hard on my full court man to man defense," he said. "I also want to continue to refine the rest of my game."
Paris has a 3.5 GPA and will take the SAT in April.
