Paris attracting all comers

Biko Paris, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound point guard from Cyprus Community Christian School in Houston, Texas, enjoyed a big junior season in the Lone Star State. Now he is hoping his success carries over to the travel schedule with his AAU team.
Paris, a New Orleans transplant to Houston, helped pilot Mark McClanahan's CCCS program to a state championship. A strong bodied guard, Paris can power into the lane and challenge defenders inside all the while mixing his scoring with his court vision to be a pass first guard.

"Biko did it all. When we needed him to score, he'd score. When we needed him to be the point guard, he'd be the point guard," McClanahan said. "Whatever we needed, he'd do it. He's a very unselfish kid."
Paris led the team in scoring and assists and shot 60 percent from the floor. Paris will suit up for the Jackson Panthers once again in his final go round on the AAU circuit. A number of schools will be sure to follow.
"Oklahoma State just came in and was really high on him. LSU really likes him. They've been recruiting him for a while. Illinois will write him and talk to him when they can. A lot of schools are recruiting him," McClanahan said.
Mississippi State, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M, Wichita State, New Orleans and Tulane are also involved with the three-star guard.
"He's pretty open. I think he'll start to really look at things after the summer," McClanahan said.
