Jeremy Pargo, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound PG from Paul Robeson HS in Chicago, Ill. is one of the nation's most physically gifted guard prospects and he's still on the board. We checked-in with him this week for an update.

Pargo, just leaving the Chicago Bulls vs. Boston Celtics pre-season NBA matchup Tuesday evening, told us he's received relatively little college interest of late.
"I've got offers from Gonzaga, Illinois, Bradley, and San Francisco," he said. "But I'm not qualified. That's why I think I haven't heard from more schools recently."
Gonzaga, Illinois and San Francisco paid him home visits in September. "Gonzaga impressed me the most," he said. "But I am worried a little about going that far away from home."
Pargo told us that at one time he was also hearing from Miami(FL), DePaul, Florida State, and Florida, however his academic situation led many of those schools to take commitments from other players.
He says that he's doing well in school and plans to take the ACT for the first time in December. He stressed that he is still wide open and will likely wait until the spring to sign.
"I'm just looking for a school that has the right situation and the right system. Playing time is important and I like an uptempo style, teams that play hard," said Pargo.
There has been some speculation that he will do a year of post-graduate school at a place like Hargrave Military, but he says that's not what's on his mind right now.
"I'm just focused on doing well in school so that I can be in college next year," he stated.
Pargo registered impressive performances at the NBPA Camp in June and the Reebok ABCD Camp in July. At the ABCD Camp he was rated the top senior point guard in attendance and shined in the all star game.
Pargo is a very physical guard with broad shoulders and thick legs. He has deceptive quickness off the dribble, and is perhaps the most explosive leaper in the class of 2005. In the role of point guard he is quite creative and does a good job playing under control and getting his teammates involved in the action. His jumper is respectable from 18' and in, streaky from beyond the arc.
He averaged 23 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds per game last season for Robeson.
Jeremy's brother Jannero Pargo is a former Arkansas Razorback and current NBA player with the hometown Chicago Bulls.
"He hasn't really pressured me with regards to college. He wasn't really recruited out of high school. He went to junior college, then Arkansas, so my situation is a little bit different," Pargo said.
The best part about having a brother in the NBA?
"The free tickets are cool."
