Palacios Has A Smooth Game

Juan Palacios, the outstanding 6-8 junior forward from Our Savior New American, continues to showcase a smooth offensive game. Palacios, who goes about 220 pounds, has a nice frame and is athletic enough in transition to cause some headaches for his defender.
Besides being big and strong, Palacios plays hard. He showcased his intensity and skills at the recent All Star event held at Hofstra. Palacios scored 11 points, blocked some shots, picked up some rebounds and ran the floor better than he had done so a year ago. He has an NBA body already and the maturity to go along with it. Many call him the "quiet man." He just plays the game hard and is one of the best in the 2004 class.
Villanova, Seton Hall, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Texas, Rutgers, St. John's, Syracuse, Connecticut, and Kentucky have all shown some early interest in Palacios. There are other schools now also planning to get involved with Palacios, who had a solid summer.
