Palacios Continues To Sparkle

Juan Palacios' game has come a long way since he enrolled at Our Savior New American in Centereach, New York four years ago. Still very quiet on and off the court, Palacios makes his loud statements with his play for the Pioneers.
Palacios scored 20 points this past weekend to help Our Savior win its own tournament. Palacios has a smooth delivery on his shot and he utilized it several times during the Pioneers' victory over a talented Life Center team.

The mail has been steady to Palacios doorstep this Fall. Many high majors are already lining up to scout Palacios for the 2004 recruiting campaign.
Though Palacios doesn't say too much, he has indicated an interest in North Carolina, Villanova, Seton Hall, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Texas, Rutgers, St. John's, Syracuse, Connecticut, and Kentucky.
There is no leader, according to Palacios and the staff at Our Savior New American. But you can bet the offers will come very soon as the winter goes on. Palacios and Our Savior are going to be receiving a great deal of exposure on the national scene. Our Savior could end up playing close to 55-60 games depending upon how far they go in tournaments in 2002-2003.
