Page commits to dream school

He is not the biggest player, but Keiton Page is one of the toughest players out there. The 5-foot-10, 168-pound point guard led his Pawnee (Okla.) High School team to the state tournament this year, and after he graduates in 2008, he will play in the Big 12.
It all started for Keiton in the seventh grade when he went to Oklahoma State for a Bedlam game, and he got caught up into the atmosphere," said Page's father and high school coach David Page. "He has always wanted to be good enough to play at Oklahoma State."

After assistants watched Page play in the high school playoffs and in AAU this spring, Coach Sean Sutton visited the school last Friday and then offered a scholarship over the weakend.
A fiery competitor who can really shoot the ball and create a shot with the dribble, Page averaged just under 30 points a game while shooting 49 percent from three and 55 percent overall from the field. He also averaged 5.5 assists, 4.6 steals and 3.2 rebounds per game.
