Padgett Has Visitors
David Padgett had company over the past few days from the coaching staffs of the three finalists on his list.
According to his father and coach at Reno H.S., Pete Padgett, North Carolina visited David on Sept. 29, while Kansas and Arizona both came in on Monday the 30th.

All of this is a prelude to David's decision, which is expected to be made public sometime on today (Wednesday afternoon, Pacific Standard Time) according to Pete Padgett.
"David is going to get up in the morning and makes some calls," Mr. Padgett said. "He is going to make one good one and two very uncomfortable ones."
Pete Padgett said that David could conceivably have made the phone calls on Tuesday night, although the plan was to make them sometime Wednesday morning. Rivalshoops.com spoke to Mr. Padgett at roughly 11:15 p.m. E.S.T.
Coming out of the July evaluation period, Mr. Padgett thought they had a pretty good handle on the recruiting situation. However, on Tuesday night, even he admitted that the insatiable thirst for knowledge into his son's decision has been overwhelming at times.
He admitted that there will be a sense of relief once the decision is made and David signs a national letter of intent this fall.
