Pac 10 Visit Next For Guard

Les Norman, an aggressive 6-1, 195 pound combo/shooting guard from Long Beach City College in Long Beach, Calif., has set up a pair of official visits this summer.
According to Long Beach Head Coach Gary Anderson, Norman visited Coppin State this past weekend and is slated to visit Washington State this upcoming weekend.

Norman averaged 15 points per game this past season for LBCC. He shot 39 percent from the floor overall and 37 percent from beyond the three point arc.
A native of Lebanon, Ill., Norman had signed with San Jose State out of high school, but ran into some legal problems shortly after enrolling at the Western Athletic Conference program.
He has spent the past two years at Long Beach City College, where he has been one of the better scoring lead guards in the California JUCO ranks.
Norman had committed to Fresno State last fall, but that commitment was contingent on Jerry Tarkanian staying on as head coach and his pending application to the school.
Once Tarkanian stepped down after the 2001-2002 season, all bets were off and Norman reopened the recruiting process.
We will keep you posted on his recruitment until a decision is reached, so stay tuned.
