Orchard likes Utah States program

Sam Orchard knows he needs a big senior season to get offers but the Salt Lake City (Utah) Highland point guard is also exciting about some interest he's receiving from Utah State and hopes the Aggies stay on him in the coming months.
"It's going good with (Utah State)," Orchard said.

"I think they're going to have me come out to a game and see what it's all about so that's good. We'll see how that goes.
"I know a pretty good amount about them just from this last year of them talking to me and I went up to a game last year so I know a decent amount about them."
Orchard, a 6-foot-1 point guard who plays with Utah Pump N Run, attended the Nevada game last season and another one he couldn't remember and was blown away by Utah State's facilities.
He's looking to find out whether or not the Aggies are taking a point guard in this class and if they have the space then he'd like to keep them interested by having a strong senior season.
Orchard said he really liked the atmosphere at the Utah State games last season and wants to be a part of something like that.
"The games there are just awesome," he said. "They have the coolest stadium in Utah for sure. It was really sweet.
"I want to go out and show people what I can do and that I can play at that level."
