One Offer For Underrated Swing

In his many years as director of the Pittsburgh JOTS traveling program, J.O. Stright has sent many players on to the Division I ranks.
One of the more underrated prospects on this year's JOTS squad is Justin Moore, a sturdily built 6-4, 200 pound swingman/small forward from Cannon-McMillan H.S. in Cannonsburg, Penn. He transferred from Bethel Park HS for his junior season.

Moore swings effectively between the two and three positions. He has the frame to get things done in the paint, yet also showed range out to three point land. The only part of his game we weren't certain about were his ball handling skills.
Moore told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he has been offered thus far by Robert Morris College. Others who have expressed interest include Canisius, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Duquesne, Ohio State, Pittsburgh and Memphis. Justin's father, John, played at Duquesne in the late 1970s where he scored over 1,000 points.
Of the early schools on his list, Moore said he has only unofficially visited Ohio State.
Moore averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three blocks per game this past season at Cannon-McMillan. He said he has a 2.5 GPA and will take both the SAT and ACT this month.
Among the major events that Moore plans to attend this summer are the first session of the Eastern Invitational Basketball Clinic, the adidas Big Time Tournament, and a session of the Five-Star basketball camp.
