One final visit for Bawinkel

Devan Bawinkel, the 6-foot-5, 185-pound combo guard from Winnebago (IL) High School is close to making a decision about his future. After already taking two official visits, Bawinkel, the three-star prospect, has one more visit to take before selecting the school of choice.
"Devan has already taken visits to DePaul and West Virginia," said Winnebago High School head coach Joe Murphy. "He is going to take an official visit to Georgetown next Friday. Once his visit to Georgetown is complete, Devan will be ready to make a decision.

"DePaul, West Virginia and Georgetown are pretty much even right now," he added. "Devan does not have a leader and really likes different things about each of the schools. Deciding what school to attend will be a tough decision for Devan, but its one that he will be ready to make in a couple of weeks."
Coach Murphy indicated that each of the three remaining programs on Bawinkel's list has done an outstanding job recruiting the three-star prospect. As a matter of fact, coaches from DePaul, West Virginia and Georgetown have made it a point to make the trip to Winnebago, Ill., whenever possible.
"The entire West Virginia coaching staff was just here last night," said Murphy. "Georgetown was here on Tuesday and I believe that they were here last week as well. DePaul has been here a lot as well. Devan has conducted in-home visits with each of the schools, but they also drop by the school whenever possible."
Devan Bawinkel Scouting Report: Bawinkel excels at making shots in the mid-range area. Strong but not a fluid athlete, Bawinkel has a solid skill package and can defend. Shooting range and mechanics need work. -Jerry Meyer.
