Omari Westley Has Top List

Omari Westley's name has been linked so long to the University of Cincinnati that many people have already penciled him into the Bearcats' recruiting class for next year.
But according to his coach at Barton County C.C. in Kansas, Ryan Wolf, the 6-6 run/jump athlete deluxe is considering a number of colleges this fall.

Wolf told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that Cincinnati leads UAB, Toledo, Maryland, West Virginia, Fresno and Missouri.
Westley (pictured right) showed flashes of brilliance in a pair of easy Barton victories this past weekend at the Jayhawk Shootout. In two contests, he averaged 8.5 points, but according to Wolf has been hampered by stretched knee ligaments early on this season.
Westley has always been an exciting run jump athlete who thrives in transition. For the season at Barton, the Cleveland native averages 12.5 points and seven rebounds per game, shooting nearly 56 percent from the floor.
Westley was a member of Wabash Valley's national title squad last season, a squad which ironically enough started its run to the championship with a win over Barton at Hutch last March.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com will keep you abreast on Westley's recruitment in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned.
