Omari Israel Transfers
Omari Israel, a rising junior from Rockville, Maryland, has decided to transfer to Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. Israel arrived on the Oak Hill campus on Tuesday. He scrimmage last night.
"He looked good," Oak Hill Academy head coach Steve Smith said. "He is a power forward right now but can eventually be a small forward."

Omari is about 6-8 and 205 pounds. "He is a legit 6-8," Smith said. "We measured him tonight and he is definitely 6-8. He scores mostly inside. He needs to learn to take people off the dribble like Carmelo does."
Israel played at Good Counsol High School in Wheaton, Maryland. He averaged 15 points and eight rebounds last season as a sophomore.
