Olsen taking game to Mountain West

Jeremy Olsen might want to look for a winter coat. The Georgian is taking his game to the Mountain West.
Olsen, a 6-foot-10 big man from Collins Hill High School, verbally committed to Utah on Saturday afternoon. For Olsen, his commitment is a bit of homecoming, too. The big man lived in the Beehive State prior to moving to Georgia and still has family members in Utah.

"It was a chance for me to get back to where I have a lot of family and play in front of them," Olsen said. "There is a great opportunity for me to play there and they are people that I can just trust in."
Olsen is the first player to commit to Utah in the class of 2009.
"I think I'll fit in really well there. I'm going to play as hard as I can and be whatever kind of player they want me to be," Olsen said. "He said he can help me become as good as I want to be when I am there."
Olsen said he also considered Xavier, BYU, Iowa, South Florida, Tulane, Auburn and Western Kentucky.
