Ole Miss Signs Indiana Guard

Todd Abernethy, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound guard from Carmel, Indiana, signed a National Letter of Intent with Mississippi. Abernethy had verbally committed to Wright State last month but re-opened his recruiting after WSU fired head coach Ed Schilling.
Abernethy averaged 28.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists per this season at Heritage Christian High School in Indianapolis. He was named to the Associated Press All-State second team and was named the Co-Player of the Year in Indianapolis.
