“I committed to Ole Miss yesterday on my official visit,” said Webb. “I’m really excited. I think Ole Miss provides the best opportunity for me. They will be losing seven seniors next year.”
Webb joins 2005 Ole Miss commitments in center Marquis Young, center Carl Swanigan, and small forward Trey Hampton.
Webb had more positive comments about the Ole Miss program.
“I really like the coaching staff and the players on the team. It is just the right fit for me. I like the size of the campus, and I look to come in a get some playing time my freshman year, which is important to me.”
Webb, who also had offers from Chattanooga and Western Kentucky, is an athletic rebounder and defender. He has the potential to be a scorer within 15-feet of the basket.
Primarily, an interior player, Webb has some skill development to do before becoming a high major small forward.
"I am working on my ball handling and defensive foot work right now," commented Webb.
