Oglesby makes his selection

Earlier in the day it was Ky Madden who held the attention of the state of Arkansas as he made his college pick. In the early afternoon, it was Josh Oglesby who had Iowa locals waiting to see if he stay home and play for the Hawkeyes or head out of state.
Whereas there was a lot of worry that Madden would leave the state, most expected Oglesby to be a Hawkeye. As it turns out, he rewarded the locals and will be a Hawkeye after announcing his decision.
A six-foot-five shooting guard from Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Washington, Oglesby had a big summer playing for Jamie Johnson's Iowa Barnstormers. He bombed threes from all over the perimeter, played some point and earned the #118 spot in Rivals.com's national rankings of the class of 2011.
