Oglesby ACC bound

A sharp shooter with deep range, Terrence Oglesby caught the attention of college coaches this spring with his ability to score the basketball. Oglesby, a 6-foot-1, 187-pound shooting guard from Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, Tenn., is now hoping to put up big numbers in the ACC.
"It is going to be Clemson," said Oglesby. "The atmosphere there is a lot like where I am from. And I really got to know Coach Bradley and Coach Purnell very well.

"They are an up and coming program and have a legit shot to get to the tournament this year before I get there. Then I hope to help them make a run at a final four."
Oglesby, who runs with the Tennessee Travelers in the summer, chose Clemson over Michigan. He also had offers from Miami, Virginia Tech, Charlotte and Washington State.
Clemson will experiment with Oglesby at both guard positions.
"They want me to play the one and the two, but primarily they are bringing me in as a shooter," added Oglesby.
The No. 115 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, Oglesby averaged 24 points and 7 assists per game as a junior.
