Official visits set for Negedu

Emmanuel Negedu, one of the few top unsigned seniors in the class of 2008, has set up four official visits for June and hopes to have a decision shortly thereafter.
Negedu, a four-star forward from Brewster Academy (N.H.) will officially visit all four of his finalists in a busy nine-day span. The former Arizona signee will begin his visits on June 3 when he sees Indiana officially.

On June 8, he will trip to Atlanta to get his first look at Georgia Tech's campus. Then it is off to Tennessee on June 10 and Memphis on June 12, according to his high school coach Jason Smith.
Smith added Negedu would have started his visits this week but due to the NCAA recruiting dead period, the trips will begin next week. Smith said the recruiting process is "not going to drag it out."
Negedu, the No. 40 ranked player in the class of 2008, would be a major addition for each of the finalists.
"An intense competitor, Negedu is an exceptional leaper with a long wingspan which allows him to play larger than his size," Rivals.com National Basketball Recruiting Analyst Jerry Meyer says. "He excels at rebounding and attacking the basket. His perimeter game is a work in progress."
