Offers coming in for Peterson

Three-star 2007 prospect Jamine Peterson is averaging a robust double-double for the Boys & Girls High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound small forward also has four offers already on the table.
"I have offers from Rutgers, Umass, St. John's and Iowa State," said Peterson. "I'm also getting interest from Arkansas and Clemson.
"After the season I'll take an unofficial to St. John's. I'll start taking official visits after I take the SAT in June."
An extremely athletic slasher who is averaging 24 points and 15 rebounds for his 15-6 team, Peterson is looking for an up tempo style in which he can maximize his abilities.
He is also working diligently to improve his outside shot.
"I'm working hard on my jumper," he said. "After practice and every Sunday I'm working with my coach and getting a lot of shots up. Right now my strength is exploding to the basket. I also play hard on both ends of the court every time I step out there."
This summer Peterson will run with the Metro Hawks AAU program.
