Offer On Table From Big Ten
Brent Petway, a 6-8, 198 pound power/combination forward from Griffin H.S. in Griffin, Ga., has a scholarship offer from a Big 10 program on the table this spring.
Petway told the Insiders Report/Rivalshopps.com that Michigan has offered him a ride. In addition, Petway lists Georgia Tech, Georgetown, Stanford and Florida as possible college destinations.

Petway, who has a very lanky frame, impressed us with his overall skill level at the Kingwood Classic. He showed the ability to face up and hit the short jumper with consistency, and is also a fine passer out of the post.
"I need to work on my three point shooting and defense," Petway said.
This past season at Griffin (which also produced former Kansas standout Darrin Hancock), Petway averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks per game.
A solid student, Petway said he carries a 3.1 GPA and a 960 SAT score.
Petway will tour the spring and summer circuits with Norman Parker's Georgia Stars program, and we will keep you posted on his play in the coming weeks and months.
