George Odufuwa, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward from Dallas's Kimball High School, is enjoying the recruiting process and sculpting his game both inside and out this spring. The No. 73 ranked player in the class of 2006 is in no hurry to make a decision either. He's hearing a lot from a core of schools and hopes he hears more from others in July.

With his Dallas Showtyme AAU program, Odufuwa has played well at events like the Next Level tournament in Dallas. College coaches have taken notice.
Odufuwa said he's hearing the most from Arizona State, Oklahoma, SMU, UNLV and Vanderbilt. All have offered, he said.
"They've all been around and really recruiting me pretty hard. I talk to some of them three times a week," Odufuwa said, "but I'm still wide open. There are some other schools out there that are recruiting me but just aren't communicating with me as much as the others."
Florida, Texas A&M (offer) and Wake Forest are also in the picture.
"I don't know how much Wake Forest is interested though," Odufuwa said. "I have haven't really heard from them in a while but I really like them."
Not a big rush to decide, Odufuwa said he'll wait until the fall to take his official visits. The big Texan is taking the summer slowly and enjoying the opportunity to improve his game.
"There is a big difference from where I was last year to where I'm at now," Odufuwa said. "My mid range, face up game was my weakness and now it's my strength. I do a lot of my scoring by facing up when last year, I did a lot down low. Now, depending on who is guarding me, I'm doing both."
