Oak Hill shooting guard is off the board

This winter, R.J. Curington has established himself as one of the top available shooters in the class of 2013.
Thursday afternoon, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard at Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill removed himself from the available list by committing to Oliver Purnell and the DePaul Blue Demons.

A shooting guard with a solid frame to go along with his 6-foot-4 size, Curington is a dangerous shooter from beyond the three point line. His range extends easily to 22 feet, he doesn't need a lot of time or space to get his shot off and he does an excellent job of setting himself up for open looks with his movement off the ball and usage of screens.
A three-star prospect, Curington is also a solid defensive player and should be ready from a strength standpoint to play. His ball handling needs some improvement but he is a steady presence on the floor.
Curington is the Blue Demons third recruit from the class of 2013. He joins Rivals150 combo guard Billy Garrett and junior college big man Forrest Robinson in their recruiting class.
