Oak Hill Bashes Bonner Academy

Justin Gray erupted for 35 points to lead number two ranked Oak Hill Academy to a 111-74 win over Bonner Academy last night. "We played very well last night," Oak Hill head coach Steve Smith said. "We played a lot of guys and everyone made a contribution to the win. It was a good win for us."
Smith's team has gone on a tear since its loss to Mater Dei of California. "We are shooting the ball better," Smith said. "Everyone is working hard and we are finding the open shooters."

Besides Gray, who is headed to Wake Forest next Fall, Oak Hill received significant contributions from Carmelo Anthony (20 points), Sani Ibrahim (14 points), and Ian Johnson (13 points).
On Tuesday night, Oak Hill blasted Blue Ridge High School of Virginia, 85-50. Anthony had 23 points while Gray had 15 points. Anthony hit four of four from beyond the three-point line.
"Carmelo is shooting 46 percent from the three-point line," Smith said. "That should put to rest anyone who thinks he can't shoot it from the perimeter because he can."
