NYC Forward Worth Watching

Combo forward Justin Marshall, 6-6, 205 pounds from Christ the King High School in Middle Village, Queens, is a player to keep an eye on this spring and summer. He has the possibility of jumping up to the high major level if he has a good season.
Marshall was watched by RivalsHoops.com this past Sunday during IS8 competition. He was impressive. And there are plenty of schools that are showing interest early on in his recruiting process.

Marshall is a junior who has received interest from programs on a variety of levels. Marshall, who plays with the Brooklyn Queens aka Sunday Express AAU program, has heard from Seton Hall, St. John's, Texas Tech, Pittsburgh, Ohio St.,Georgetown, Rutgers, Boston University, Hofstra, St. Peter's, and FDU.
Hofstra has offered. St. Peter's and Rhode Island came in to evaluate him this winter.
Marshall is an athlete who is still developing a face-the-basket game. He will need to progress more in the consistency department before schools start to feel comfortable recruiting him at the three slot. But it appears he is becoming more comfortable pulling up from deep.
On the defensive end, Marshall is a bouncy shot blocker who possesses good timing. He has a knack of getting the loose balls off the glass.
