NY Guard Close To Making A Decision
A source close to talented shooting guard Keith Benjamin said the 6-foot-2 2004 prospect was close to making a verbal commitment to Villanova. Benjamin is currently playing for Riverside Church at the Peach Jam event.
"Villanova leads," Benjamin admitted. "But I am also looking at Georgia Tech and Connecticut."

The question now is whether Georgia Tech or Connecticut will make a serious run at Benjamin before he makes his decision official. As of this afternoon, he told Russ Blake at the Peach Jam he wasn't ready to make his decision public.
Benjamin is a solid offensive player who can score points in bunches. He plays at one of the country's top high school programs in Mount Vernon High School in New York.
Benjamin is expected to compete at the NIKE Showcase after the Peach Jam concludes later this week. This site will have full coverage of the Showcase from Orlando, Florida.
