Sharp shooter Alex Dragicevich started picking up more offers at the end of July. One of those offers from the Big East caught his attention more than others, and the 6-foot-6 wing player quickly jumped on it.
Four-star point guard Eric Atkins now has a running mate he can set up for three-pointers.
"I'm from Chicago, and Notre Dame is close to home," said Dragicevich, who attends Northbrook (Ill.) Glenbrook North High School. "It's a really good program in the Big East, which is a great conference. It has great academics, and it's a great system for me.
"They use their guards a lot and give them freedom to create and get up a lot of shots from the perimeter."
Dragicevich, who averaged 21 points and six assists per game as a junior, also considered offers from Oklahoma State, Xavier, Utah, Colorado and Oregon State.
