Notre Dame and Stanford Offer 2005 Prospect

2005 prospectBobby Frasor out of Brother Rice High School (21-1 record) in Blue Island, Illinois now has four high major offers.
Assistants from both Notre Dame and Stanford watched the 6-foot-3, 180-pound combo guard play Tuesday night, and by the end of the week he had offers from both schools.

“On Friday I called Coach Brey and he offered me a scholarship,” said Frasor, the No. 41 player in the Rivals75 for the class of 2005. “[Assistant] Coach Kearney came to my game Tuesday and told Coach Richardson [Blue Island head coach] to have me call Coach Brey.”
“Stanford was also at that game, and Coach Reveno told Coach Richardson to have me call Coach Montgomery. I called him after school the next day and he offered. Well, it is a little different for Stanford in that I have to get accepted into school first. They have my paperwork and want me to take an official visit on the 28th to watch them play Oregon. I am not sure yet if I will be able to make it.”
Frasor, who also has offers from Marquette and DePaul, had his typically solid floor game in Brother Rice’s win Tuesday night.
“I played well and distributed the ball,” Frasor said. “I had 15 points and a lot of assists.”
Frasor also said he wanted to trim his school list down to a few schools this spring and then be ready to sign by the fall.
“I haven’t narrowed down my school list yet, but I like the four schools that have offered me,” he said. “I am also looking at Wisconsin, Illinois, NC State, and Georgia Tech.”
Notre Dame is looking at Frasor as a combo guard, while Stanford would like to utilize him primarily as a point guard.
