Notre Dame Academy Tops Life Center

MILFORD, Del. -- Rashaun McLemore got hot in the second half, knocking down a pair of critical three pointers to help Notre Dame Academy of Virginia outdistance Life Center, 60-46 on Saturday at the War on the Shore.
Notre Dame, which trailed 17-8 early, closed the first half strong and forged a 21-21 tie at the break. With the game deadlocked at 23, the Dragons made their move thanks in large part to McLemore.

McLemore's back to back three pointers, the second of which came at the 8:40 mark, gave Notre Dame a 40-29 advantage. They were McLemore's only buckets of the second half.
James Madison bound Joe Posey (right) and McLemore each scored 10 points for Notre Dame, who was led by 6-10 forward Lucas Steijn's 11 points.
Versatile swingman Sherman Diaz led Life Center with 15 points and nine rebounds. Nebraska signee Aleksandar Maric scored 14 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked four shots in a losing effort for the Warriors, who lost their second game in as many days at the War on the Shore.
