BREAKING DOWN NORVELL: Currently ranked as the No. 93 player in the 2016 Rivals150, Norvell is a player who has transformed his game over the past few years.
Early in his high school days, Norvell was much better known for his slashing drives to the rim and ability to attack off the dribble. The hope then was that he would develop into a point guard with size. Instead, Norvell's development went in a different direction. As he's matured into a well-put-together 185-pounder, Norvell has developed into a very dangerous jump-shooter with deep range.
Because of his ability to be physical and the fact that the plays at one of the best high school programs in the country, Norvell should arrive at Gonzaga capable of stepping in and filling a role as a guy who can knock down shots, defend and score in transition.

RIVALS REACTION: Few has put together an outstanding class for 2016. In addition to Norvell, he's landed a top flight center prospect in skilled near seven-footer Zach Collins, who ranks No. 32 in 2016. Also, the Zags have headed the Euro route and French stretch four man Killian Tillie is a four-star prospect with good athleticism who can drill shots out to the three-point line.
Keep in mind that the Zags also have former Washington point guard Nigel Williams-Goss and Missouri forward Johnathan Williams III sitting out as transfers this season. Both NGW and J3 ranked in the top 50 of the 2013 high school class and have already proven themselves at the high-major level.
WHAT'S NEXT?: The Zags have room to add one more player from the class of 2016 and there is a very real possibility that sophomore star Domantas Sabonis leaves for the NBA. Three-star point guard Michael Bibby could be a possibility they explore further and it's quite likely that they will eye potential transfer candidates. Looking ahead to 2017, they will get 2015 recruit Jesse Wade back from his Mormon mission and one of their top targets looks to be tough and skilled four-star wing Corey Kispert from Seattle.
