Northwestern dipped into the powerful Illinois Wolves travel club to snag a couple 2008 prospects.

According to Wolves coach Mike Mullins, 6-foot-8 power forward John Shurna of Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West High School and 6-foot-6 shooting guard Nick Fruendt of Batavia (Ill.) High School are headed to Northwestern.

Fruendt also considered offers from Dayton, DePaul, Xavier and Bradley.
