Noah Shaves List Down

It was a terrific summer for Joakim Noah, a 6-foot-10 forward who played for Gary Charles' Long Island Panthers in July. Noah dazzled first at the ABCD camp in New Jersey and then played at the Three Stripes tournament, the Las Vegas ADIDAS sponsored event and the Best of the Summer in Los Angeles to close out his summer.
Noah, thin at 200 pounds, is currently vacationing on the island of St. Bart's. But he has managed to cut his list down to 10 schools.

"UCONN, Villanova, Florida, Maryland, UCLA, Seton Hall, St. John's, Richmond, Pitt, NC State, and Georgia Tech are on his list," Charles said. "When he gets back he will probably try to set up some visits."
Joakim will play high school basketball for Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. He has long arms and is able to grab loose balls despite his thin frame. "He'll get stronger," Charles said. "He had a great summer for us. He deserves to be ranked high."
Charles wouldn't say if one school had the edge right now. "The visits will determine that," he stated. "He is wide open right now. The schools on his list all have an equal chance of getting him."
So sometime around September will be decision time for Noah on where he takes his official visits. Ten schools remain on his list. "It's going to be tough to choose who to visit," Charles said. "They are all great schools with great coaches."
