Noah Setting Up In School Visits

One of the country's hottest recruits this past summer was 6-foot-10 forward Joakim Noah, who elevated his stock and his ranking into most top 50 lists. Noah, who played the month of July for Gary Charles' Long Island Panthers, has returned to school and will play at Lawrenceville Prep in New Jersey this winter.
"I am getting used to my new school," Noah said. "This is a really tough school (academically) and there is a lot of work to be done. I also go to school on Saturdays too. So this has made setting up official visits difficult."

Noah said he will probably visit an SEC school first. "I will visit Florida first," he said. "I am in the process of setting up a visit there. But I am so busy now. It's hard to find an open weekend."
Joakim stated he is likely also to visit Maryland. "I don't have a visit set up yet there either," he said. "But I would like to visit."
In addition, Noah will take several in school visits. "I expect to have in school visits with Maryland, Florida, UCLA, Richmond, Fordham, Georgia Tech, N.C. State, Seton Hall, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Duke and Rutgers," he said. "I don't know the exact order but those are the schools I think are coming in to talk to me."
Noah refuses to name a leader in his recruiting process. "I am just enjoying the opportunity to get used to my new school," he said. "I will take my time in doing this. My schoolwork is very important to me too and as I said the weekends are tough to set up because there is school on Saturdays."
