No Surprise -- Noah Heads To Florida

There was no surprise in Joakim Noah's recruiting process tonight. Noah, who is expected to officially announce for Florida tomorrow, had been leaning to the Gators for the past month. A source close to Noah told RivalsHoops.com that Joakim officially gave the word to Billy Donovan's program tonight.
Noah was hoping to keep the decision a secret until tomorrow. However, word leaked out tonight that he was headed to the SEC school.

Noah, a versatile 6-foot-10, 205-pound forward from Lawrenceville High School in New Jersey, had a red-hot summer that propelled him into most top 100 lists. "He is going to announce his school tomorrow," said Joakim's mom. "His coach and Joakim have set up a press conference."
The press conference will take place at school. Noah had been pursued at one time by many high majors including Maryland, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Indiana, St. John's, Pittsburgh, and Villanova.
Noah, rated the 61st best player in the Rivals150, had a terrific ABCD camp. His long arms and reach enabled him to compete againt the best forwards in the class of 2004.
