No shortage of attention for Smart

There may be some guys out there who play as hard as Marcus Smart. But, you won't find anybody who plays harder than the junior wing from Flower Mound (Texas) Marcus.
A bruising 6-foot-4 wing, who has started to receive some notoriety, Smart isn't one to brag about himself or all of the attention he's getting. But, he does admit it's nice to be noticed.

"It's a fun experience for a kid and I'm blessed to go through it," Smart told Rivals.com. "It can be frustrating at times. The decision making process is hard. When to do it, how do I do it and all of that."
When the four-star wing says that he wants to focus, he means that he wants to channel as much energy into his game as he can.
"I'm high intensity, high effort," said Smart. "When I'm on, I'm out there communicating with my teammates, scoring the ball some, crashing the boards, leading."
According to Smart -- who is currently ranked #22 in the class or 2012 -- he's been offered by pretty much the entire Big 12 and that seems to be where most of his focus is.
Currently, there's no timetable for making a decision and he doesn't seem to be in any hurry to list any favorites. As it stands, he's just plugging away, having fun with the recruiting process and trying to win a state title while looking to his family for support.
"I could do without (the attention) sometimes, but my family helps me out," said Smart. "It's all up to me in terms of what I want to do and when I do it and its about whatever makes me happy. But, they are just there to support me and help me with anything I need."
