No Maui For Banks

Sources tell us that talented swingman Sean Banks, the versatile 6-7, 200-pound wing from Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey, did not make the trip with Jim Salmon's Playaz program to Maui. The Playaz are in Hawaii for a tournament to end the summer evaluation period.
Banks has been a player that has had some sparkling moments over the past several months for the Playaz. He was one of the main reasons why the Playaz won the Gibbons tournament. He also played well and made the all tournament team at the Three Stripes event in early July.

Banks told RivalsHoops.com that Pittsburgh, Maryland, Memphis, Seton Hall, and West Virginia were all at the top of his list.
In addition, North Carolina and Rutgers, among others, have expressed interest. Banks told us that he would definitely be interested in taking a trip to Memphis, a program that only recently popped up on his radar screen. He also plans to shoot down to Maryland for a visit.
Banks told RivalsHoops that he has a 2.1 GPA and will take the SAT in October.
