No Decision Yet From Scott
Jarvelle Scott (formerly referred to as Warren Scott), a 6-7, 240 pound power forward from Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, has not yet made a decision.
Two weeks ago, Oak Hill head coach Steve Smith said he thought Scott would verbal to Mississippi. "He is probably recruiting them more than Mississippi is recruiting him," Smith said after last night's win by Oak Hill at the Prime Time Shootout.

Scott, who played last season at Abramson H.S. in New Orleans, La., had been offered last Fall by Ole Miss and Tulane. Ole Miss tried to get Scott to sign but Javelle did not ink a letter of intent. Smith was puzzled at the time. "I wasn't sure why he didn't do it," Smith said. "Now he is open."
The problem for Scott is he had a couple of opportunities in the Fall to go to a high division one program. Now, he has limited options because he waited.
Last season at Abramson, Scott averaged 19 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks per game. This season, Scott is averaging eight points and five rebounds.
