No Decision For Pruitt

Shaun Pruitt knew that making a decision between Illinois and Michigan State would be tough, but he never envisioned what he’s now experiencing. The 6-foot-8, 220-pound power forward from West Aurora High School in Aurora, IL., spent the weekend on the Illinois campus and hoped to make an announcement as early as Sunday, but Pruitt’s plans have now changed.
“I just got back from my official visit to Illinois,” Pruitt said. “I had a great time hanging out with the players and seeing how supportative the fans are. I just don’t have a decision right now about the school I’m going to choose.

“There is a chance that I might make that decision early on in the week or I might wait until later on in the week,” he added. “I was hoping a decision would be made on Sunday or Monday, but I don’t see that happening.”
Pruitt has a great deal of passion and respect for both schools, which might be the biggest reason behind his decision being such a difficult one. It appears that his visit to Illinois went better than expected.
“This is going to be such a tough decision for me because I really like both schools,” Pruitt said. “I enjoyed both of my visits to each school, so that makes the process of selecting a school so much tougher.”
Rivals.com ranks Pruitt No. 76 on the Rivals150 list and the 19th best power forward in the class of 2004.
