Nine who remain uncommitted

The spring signing period is a little more than two months away and begins on April 17. As it stands, those schools in search of well-known talent have limited options, as only nine members of the current 2013 Rivals150 remain open.
Of the group, there are four five-star prospects, led by the nation's top two players, Andrew Wiggins and Julius Randle. Here's a look where each of the nine stands in their recruitment (overall rank in parentheses).

A broken foot cost Randle the vast majority of his senior season, but it certainly hasn't hurt his recruitment. Randle recently completed a trip to N.C. Randle has been consistent in telling Rivals.com that he would like to end his recruitment about the time his high school finishes its season. He's played his recruitment close to the vest, but the Longhorns have consistently been considered at or near the top behind the scenes. More recently, the Kentucky buzz has started to turn up again and Randle himself called his visit to Raleigh his best.

Given that the Ducks were initially cut a few months ago after he took a visit there, the fact that they have been added back to the list cannot be taken lightly. Time will tell, but the Ducks have to be considered a major player.

PF Junior Etou, Arlington (Va.) Archbishop O'Connell (No. 142)
The recruitment and eligibility of Etou stands at a crossroads after Deadspin.com published an article in January citing documents that showed Etou is actually 20 years old. Officials at Archbishop O'Connell have denied that the Congo native is too old to play, but the dustup has complicated his recruitment. Until things get settled, Etou's recruitment is a question mark.
