Nike Team Florida event: 2012 2013

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.- On day two of the Nike Team Florida Fall Workout and Exposure Camp the sophomores and freshmen hit the court. A handful of high major prospects impressed, including freshman guard Kasey Hill.

2013 Prospects

Kasey Hill 6-foot point guard Mount Dora (Fla.) Bible School

An explosive point guard who excels at getting to the basket, Hill displayed exquisite body control on a number of high level finishes. He prefers to attack the rim at this point as his outside shot has less than a confident release, but over his career his range and confidence is likely to improve. There are questions about Hill's size and leadership abilities as a point guard, but there is no denying that he will be a high level scorer. As to the other questions, time will tell.

Bradley Christian 6-foot-5 small forward Melbourne (Fla.) Florida Air Academy

A promising prospect, Christian has a live and long body to go along with a developing skill package. As expected with a freshman, his shot needs refinement, but he has the ability to score in most any way from posting up to shooting from behind the arc. Christian is also an active defender and rebounder.

Demarcus Croaker 6-foot-1 shooting guard Orlando (Fla.) Jones HS

As an explosive an athlete as was in the gym, Croaker had a number of high level finishes at the rim. He gets tremendous lift on his jumper and has the potential to be a terrific midrange scorer off the dribble. He will also be a threat from behind the arc.

Quinten Payne 6-foot-3 small forward Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot HS

The younger brother of Iowa freshman Cully Payne, Quinten already has an offer from the Hawkeyes. Longer and more athletic than his older brother, Quinten made a number of athletic plays around the rim. He is an aggressive slasher to the basket and also showed promise as an outside shooter.

Dre Kalo Clayton 6-foot-5 power forward Orlando (Fla.) Evans HS

Clayton was the most productive low post player at the event. He knows how to use all of his 230-pounds and has nimble feet. He repeatedly finished against contact and also displayed a comfort level with the basketball facing the basket. How much he grows will likely determine what level he ends up as a basketball prospect.

Brendan Mooney 6-foot-5 power forward Altamonte Springs (Fla.) Lake Brantley HS

Looking an awful lot like Adam Morrison, Mooney ran the floor well and knocked down three-point shots. He has the makings of a high major face up four man.

2012 Prospects

Glen Feidanga 6-foot-6 power forward Gainesville (Fla.) The Rock HS

One of the top prospects at the event, Feidanga has an impressive combination of length and skill as a power forward who appears to still be growing. Quick to the basketball, Feidanga has sure hands and finished with control on the move. In the open court he showed some promising ball handling skills.

Quincy Mitchell 6-foot-6 power forward Tampa (Fla.) Prep

Mitchell was one of the longest and athletic prospects at the event. Over the course of the event, he found a comfort level and began to exert himself offensively. Like Feidanga, he was quick to the basketball and scored on the move.

Devonte Morgan 6-foot-3 shooting guard Tampa (Fla.) Prep

An athletic shooting guard, Morgan is strong with the basketball and repeatedly worked his way to the rim.

Jordan Montgomery 6-foot-3 shooting guard Orlando (Fla.) Christian Prep

An athletic wing with good ball handling skills, Montgomery was one of those players who repeatedly caught the eye by being in the middle of the action, making athletic plays.

Alvin Cunningham 6-foot-3 small forward St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood HS

Long, athletically and apparently still growing, Cunningham stood out in particular on the defensive end. He also attacked the basket offensively.
