Nike EYBL: Marvin Bagley III plays big, talks top six

WESTFIELD, Ind. - If there were any questions about Marvin Bagley III's status as the top player in the 2018 Rivals150, he answered them clearly on Saturday.

Though his team struggled for wins, he was individually dominant on both ends of the floor. Bagley played above the rim, ran the floor and showed his continually improving skill while racking up 51 points and 35 rebounds in two games for the Phoenix Phamily.

Bagley took time to discuss his status.

"The recruiting process has been pretty quiet right now," Bagley told Rivals.com. "They talk to my dad a lot and every now and then a coach will text me. I haven't really been focused on it lately. I made a new list of a top six (USC, UCLA, Arizona, Kansas, Duke and Kentucky) and that's the latest move I've made with my recruitment."

While Bagley feels pretty good about his top six, he hasn't decided when to set his visits.

"I'm not really sure when I'm going to set my visits," said Bagley. "I'm just focused on trying to win with my team right now and I'll worry about visits later."

On the bright side for the schools chasing the best player in the land, he's not planning to drag things out.

"I'll probably make a decision sometime in the fall," said Bagley. "I don't want to be that type of player that waits it out and I'd like to get it out of the way so I can focus on my senior season."
