Nichols Ready For Decision
Sources tell RivalsHoops.com that Demetris Nichols, a 6-7 swingman from St. Andrew's High School in Barrington, Rhode Island, did not make a visit to Providence today. Sources tell us that the Friars basically backed out of the trip when they got the feeling that they trailed in the recruiting process.
Nichols, who has looked sharp over the past month playing for the T5T Playaz, already taken visits to Syracuse and Villanova.

As of last week, Syracuse still had the lead, according to St. Andrew's head coach Mike Hart. As of tonight though, Syracuse has not received a commitment. Villanova seemed to close the gap between itself and the Orange after Nichols took a visit there after playing in the Charlie Weber tournament.
