Modibo Niakate, a 6-0, 160 pound shooting/combo guard from Hutchinson C.C. in Hutchinson, Kan., has three official visits on the spring docket.
Hutch Asst. Coach Eric Duft told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that Niakate visited Cleveland State and Tennessee-Martin and plans to visit Niagara this weekend.

A native of Paris, France, Niakate played his high school ball in the state of Illinois before transferring into Hutchinson two years ago. He actually attended Washington College Prep in Limestone, Tenn., for half a year before enrolling into Hutchinson.
A fine perimeter marksman, Niakate averaged 10 points per game on a very balanced Hutch squad this past season. While he can bring the ball up on offense, he's more suited to play off the ball than run the point.
A solid student, Niakate is expected to graduate in the spring, and we'll keep you abreast on a decision in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
