With a whirlwind of activity taking place, Rivals.com has arrived on the scene of this years Las Vegas Spring Showcase. 217 teams will travel to six different venues in hopes of making it to the Championship game on Sunday afternoon at 3:20. Pool play beings tonight at 6:30 and Rivals.com is here to breakdown some of the top teams and players that will participate in the event.

Christian Polk, the No. 37 ranked player in the class has Connecticut and Indiana right at the top of his list. Arizona bound Nic Wise is looking to move up the rankings with a solid weekend of play. Damion James, the No. 5 ranked player in the class, will take his game to Oklahoma after high school. Chase Budinger, the 6-foot-5 small forward from Carlsbad, Calif., is receiving interest from a number of elite level colleges. James Keefe, the No. 12 ranked player in the class, has already given a commitment to UCLA. One of the top players in the class and state of California, Matt Shaw, is looking to move up the rankings after this weekend.
Elite Players From 2007 Make The Trip
Jerryd Bayless, the No. 7 ranked player in the class of 2007, hopes for a strong showing after breaking his wrist earlier in the year. There aren't many point guards as good as five star floor general, Jai Lucas. Gary Johnson is receving interest from as many as eight high major programs, but Duke and North Carolina sit atop his list. Five star center/power forward Isaiah Rusher from Houston, Texas., is interested in Connectcuit, Florida, Georgia Tech, Oklahama State, Arizona and Georgia. Taylor King, the 6-foot-6, 180-pound small forward from Mater Dei High School in Santa Anna, Calif., is headed to UCLA.
