New schools calling on White

Josh White can't help but sit back and smile when thinking about his future. After somewhat of a slow start in the recruiting process, things have certainly picked up for the 5-foot-10, 167-pound point guard from Christian Life Academy in Baton Rouge, La. Within the last two weeks, two new high-major programs have started to shown an interest in White.
"Actually, Kentucky and Southern California have started to recruit me," said White. "I would say that both schools probably started calling about two weeks ago. They called my coach and both Kentucky and Southern California are very interested in me.

"I really have a high amount of interest in both schools," he added. "Murray State, Washington, Arkansas, Pittsburgh, Tulane and Mississippi State are starting to pick things up in my recruitment. Those are the schools that I am probably hearing from the most."
While most prospects from across the United States are preparing for the July evaluation period, White is planning to participate in just one event. There is a chance that he might actually might play in two events, but only one has been scheduled at this time.
Furthermore, the talented floor general has already started thinking about taking some official visits in the fall. However, will all five visits take place?
"Georgia State and High Point really want me to visit in the fall," said White. "There is a chance that I could visit both of those schools. Connecticut, Kentucky, Southern California and Florida are some of the other schools that I would like to visit. I am going to take all five visits.
"I will start to plan my schedule after the summer is over," he added. "I just have one more event in July and I am done. I will be playing in an event in Las Vegas with my AAU team. I possibly could attend Adidas camp, but I don't know about that yet."
