New school in top 10 of expanded team rankings

Ohio State and St. John's were the recipients of good news at the end of the early signing period. St. John's further solidified its No. 2 ranking in the national team recruiting rankings with the addition of four-star wing Amir Garrett. Ohio State beat out Florida to land four-star center Amir Williams, which bumped the Buckeyes' class from No. 14 to No. 10 in the latest edition of the rankings.

The rankings were also extended to 30 teams. The five new additions are Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Indiana, Georgetown and Auburn.
The SEC is the top conference in the rankings with nine teams in the top 30 and boasts the No. 1 team Kentucky.
Behind the SEC is the Big East with six teams in the rankings. Syracuse and Louisville join St. John's in the top 10.
Four teams represent both the ACC and the Big Ten. Duke and North Carolina join Ohio State in the top 10 along at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively.
The Big 12 and Pac-10 have three teams in the rankings with one team representing each conference in the top 10.
Xavier represents the Atlantic 10 as the only non-BCS team in the national rankings.
