New Mexico junior makes his pick

In the media and on the floor, people are taking notice of the West Coast Conference. Recruits are taking notice as well and Monday night Cullen Neal picked a WCC school.
A 6-foot-4 junior combo guard at Albuquerque (N.M.) Eldorado, Neal decided that he had seen enough and made the call for St. Mary's and Randy Bennett.

"I'm really excited about making my decision to commit to Saint Mary's," Neal told Rivals.com. "They are a top 20 program and made the sweet sixteen two years ago."
Skinny but tough, Neal is a skilled scorer of the basketball who can knock down shots from deep or by attacking the lane with the dribble.
The son of New Mexico assistant Craig "Noodles" Neal, he's also one of smartest players in the junior class and checks in at No. 147 nationally in the 2013 Rivals150.
As long as he can adjust physically and continues to make strides with his game, Neal is a potential impact player.
"I am excited to join a program that I can contribute to right away," said Neal. "Coach Bennett did a great job recruiting me.
"I wanted to decide now so I could concentrate on school and playing the game I love."
