New Mex., Northwestern, More Check Lillis

On a team littered with nice talent, 6-foot-4, 195-pound combo guard Brian Lillis may not stand out, but he is a solid Division I prospect in his own right.
Lillis, who attends Dowling H.S. in West Des Moines, Ia, is a player who can comfortably swing between the one and two positions. Possessing a good feel for the game of basketball, Lillis has a nice stroke from beyond the arc and adequate ball handling skills. The one area he may lack in is the foot speed department.

Lillis, who played with the Martin Brothers squad this past weekend at the Spiece Run N Slam Tournament, told RivalsHoops.com that he has fielded early interest from Northwestern, New Mexico, Northern Iowa, Creighton and Drake. Of those programs, Drake has offered him a scholarship.
Lillis said he carries a 3.6 GPA and has scored a 20 on the ACT.
While Lillis hasn't been invited to either major shoe camp in July, he will be seen by many on the Nike/AAU circuit this summer with Martin Brothers.
RivalsHoops.com will monitor his progress and keep you updated on his situation in the weeks to come. Stay tuned.
